Irish Luck Casino Review
Irish Luck, or casino Irish luck as the sites url states, is another Irish themed online casino launched in 2008. It may have been one of the first online casinos to opt for the ‘luck of the Irish’ theme, but there are so many other online casinos which have launched since with the same theme, it’s easy to lose track of them. Not only do they have the Irish theme, but there are so many similar names too. Let’s find out if Irish Luck will stand out from the crowd.
Design and Theme
Quite clearly just from the name, we’re expecting the stereotypical Irish themed design; green aplenty, leprechauns, four leaf clovers, pots of gold and rainbows. Open the homepage and you get what you expect, in fact you can tick them all off in the first few seconds of browsing. There is a dark green background with the Irish Luck logo in the top left corner, complete with a gold four leaf clover. Simple, plain white text runs along the top with links to Games, Promotions, Help, Contacts and Download.
Under here is the main banner showing the welcome bonus along with the red-haired leprechaun and his chest of gold coins. Below this main image are more links to the slots, table games, video poker and speciality games and preview squares of each game.
Click into the promotions tab and there’s a nice feature showing a scroll with the various offers and promotions. Click to each one and the scroll opens and closes.
On the whole, as predictable as it is, Irish Luck is a nice looking site that is well set out, a doddle to navigate, and if you’ve never seen any of the other Irish themed online casinos, you’d be fairly pleased with the overall feel of it. It certainly doesn’t have any unique features but thankfully, it doesn’t look like some of those awful mass-produced online casinos, where it’s clear absolutely no thought has gone into the design whatsoever.
Games and Software
There is plenty of choice when it comes to games at Irish Luck, with over 180 to choose from. However, they’re all from the one software provider, Rival. Although there is a great selection with some excellent titles, it would have been nice to see some more developers added to the mix for some more of those popular games. Even just having NetEnt software would have made a huge difference.
When it comes to the actual games, we have slots, video poker, speciality games (including bingo), video poker and traditional card and table games such as roulette and blackjack.
As mentioned earlier, there are plenty of offers for both new and existing players, so check out the promotions page for the most up to date deals available.
There is also a VIP / loyalty scheme for regular players and the Irish theme continues here. You automatically join the VIP programme once you make your first £25 or more deposit. You start off as a shamrocker, then as you deposit more and more, you moved your way onto being the leprechaun’s boss, fairies’ fella, wellwisher, Jack Potter and finally Patrick’s sidekick at the very top level. Each of these has a little story behind it and each has differing rewards from birthday gifts and free spins, right through to personal VIP assistants and weekly cashback.
If you’re wanting a simple, irish themed online casino, Irish Luck is definitely worth a visit. It’s just a shame it’s in a saturated market and doesn’t have the big name software developers behind it to make it stand out from the rest.
